North Morgan Creek Ranch provides a very exciting and challenging bowhunt for several species of exotic game from all over the world. Our prices are very reasonable, because we understand that bowhunters often times are not able to kill the biggest animal they may see. You can also rest assured that you will not spend a lot of money up front to kill a particular trophy animal and go home empty handed. That is why we only charge you the trophy fee of the animal if you kill it.
Price includes food, lodging, and guiding.
*Only 1 trophy animal may be taken at the bowhunter price, for all additional trophy animals the regular trophy fee will apply.
Mature Blackbuck are considered to be one of the toughest animals to even get a shot at with a bow. They have a very keen sense of smell, eyes that can pick you off from any distance, and excellent hearing. If you are looking for a real bowhunting challenge for an animal that will even put a whitetail to shame come and hunt for a blackbuck.
DOVE HUNTING

The Abilene Texas area is known for incredible dove hunting. At North Morgan Creek Ranch, we are set up to handle large corporate groups who want to enjoy great dove hunting, one of a kind food, and a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The ranch has large grain fields on two sides. Inside the ranch, we have over 40 acres in cultivation scattered around the ranch. We also have 7 ponds that help hold a large number of roosting dove. During the day, you can spend time fishing in our ponds that are stocked with largemouth bass, hybrid bluegill, and catfish.
The dove hunt package that we are offering includes food, beverages, and lodging. Our lodge can sleep up to 20 people. We have 4 RV hookups next to the lodge if needed for larger groups. The ranch has accommodated 35 hunters in a dove hunt in 2006. Hunters will be transported to and from hunting areas. Everything a hunter needs is provided except for shotguns and ammunition.
During the 2007 dove season, North Morgan Creek Ranch hosted two large corporate groups. C and N Technology Systems conducted their third annual hunt at our ranch consisting of 28 hunters. This hunt offers versatility to the rifle hunter because you may choose from several different types of trophy exotic animals. We invite you to come and join us on the ranch for an affordable and very exciting hunt. This is an excellent hunt for the rifle or archery hunter. The hunt is conducted over feeders from tree stands or ground blinds. This hunt is considered our introductory hunt to the ranch. This hunt will allow you to experience our ranch and all it has to offer. During this affordable hunt you may add additional animals at any time. On this hunt you will be provided with food, lodging, and guiding. This hunt is available any time of the year. Many trophy hogs may exceed 300 pounds.

Elk hunting at North Morgan Creek Ranch is done all year for elk cows, bulls may be hunted in late august while they are in velvet or until they drop their antlers, which is typically in early February. We have harvested several bull elk that scored between 300 and 400. The only license needed is a small game license, which includes the hunting of all exotic animals in Texas. The non-resident fee for the license is $45.00 for 5 days. |

Bison hunting is our most popular hunt. Due to the large number of bison we harvest every year, they have become very wary and are difficult to stalk, especially within bow range.
Comparatively speaking, bison are not as hard to bring down as other large animals, therefore harvesting one with a bow is not as difficult as some might think. Unlike many bison hunts, at North Morgan Creek Ranch you are allowed to take home every part of the bison you harvest. This hunt is done all year round and has a 100% success rate. The bison herd is made up of both bulls and cows, averaging around 2 years of age. They should weigh from 600 lbs. up to 800 lbs. These bison will produce about 250 pounds of boned out meat. Trophy bulls can be priced on request in advance of a hunt since they are not always on the ranch and a deposit is needed before we buy the bull. After this hunt you will enjoy many months worth of fine table fare and surely be back for more.

While enjoying your stay at North Morgan Creek Ranch, there is more to do than just hunt. We have seven stocked ponds on the ranch ranging from 1/2 acre to 10+ surface acres. Several of the smaller ponds are stocked with hybrid blue gills that can reach over a pound in size. The three largest ponds are stocked with florida strain largemouth bass. The largest bass produced so far has been just over 7 pounds. We also have catfish in two of our ponds.
As an added bonus during the winter months between November and April, we stock a 2 acre pond with rainbow trout. The trout range in size from 1 to 3 pounds. If you like the challenge of fly fishing, you can combine two sports in one trip while hunting with us. This is not catch and release, feel free to keep whatever you catch, with the exception of the bass.
